US military and the man with Asperger’s Syndrome

There is some aspects of the Gary McKinnon situation that concern me.
The first is the extradition treaty that this Labour government made with the USA. I understand that we are obligated to extradite our citizens to the USA on demand!
But if the UK want to extradite American citizens then our government has to justify exactly what, why, how and when before we can get Americans over to this side of the pond.
I don’t mind extradition agreements but they need to be equal on both sides. It looks like our lousy government has accepted an agreement that is not equal:
- The US has to prove “reasonable suspicion” for extradition of a British citizen
- The UK has to prove “probable cause” to extradite an American from the US
Gary McKinnon is a 43 year old who suffers from Asperger’s Syndrome. How mentally capable he is I do not know. He may well have been looking for evidence of UFOs.
What I do know is that this person was apparantly able to rip the American military computer systems apart! The military apparantly call it ‘ the biggest military computer hack ever’.
You know, if I was in charge of these American military computers then I would be too ashamed to admit that an ordinary person with Asperger’s Syndrome was able to drive a horse and carriage (an English expression) through these important computer systems!
If McKinnon could do this with all his problems, then enemy intelligence could probably do the same standing on their heads!
Perhaps the USA military should put McKinnon in charge of these computer systems. It would appear that he could do a better job!

The US seems to forget that I allow them the use of the internet. I’ll be watching closely.
