Or cfourse Brown may not hate Gurkhas! I wouldn’t know one way or the other.
But I totally fail to understand WHY this Labour government is behaving like this towards Gurkha soldiers!
It is clear that Gordon Brown is in full agreement with this shameful and discriminatory policy (because he would stop it if he didn’t agree!)
To so cynically require 20 years service when Labour know that only officers were allowed to serve for more than 15 years, shows a deliberate policy of discrimination against soldiers who fought so valiantly alongside our soldiers.
Gordon – this is shameful of you!

A disappointing G20 for the PM so far.
France and Germany have called for tougher regulation for the world’s financial system at the G20 summit. Which is absolutely necessary to do BUT it highlights the failure of Brown to regulate the UK’s financial system over the whole time he was the chancellor and the prime minister.
Brown won’t accept any failings but the rest of the world are saying that he was to blame!
